  1. The age requirement is too much. Majority of the unemployed in the society ranges between 25 and 30 years which is also the average graduating age of students in nigeria. Your recruitment will not help in combating the rate of unemployment in the society following the age requirement. A 35 years nigerian must have secure a job else where so, you may end up helping not the helpless…

  2. Guys, do not let us castigate WAEC for the age limit. They too have their reasons. It may not be in our favour but there are people in that category it will favour. Unemployment cuts across all strata of the society. There are jobs for matured people and there are jobs for younger ones(i.e. both in experience and age). God will give us our own. WAEC too do recruit fresh graduates as and when the need arises. God’s time is the best.

  3. This is the first an organisation is given an opportunity to older applicants an opportunity to serve without making most of us lie about our ages.BB should go & contribute his own quota by teaching for sometime & gaining experience before applying to work with an examination body.Is being older a criminal offence & an authentic reason for making some of us appear useless & unproductive after graduating in the 90’s and early 2000.Let me know.

  4. To me,Mr. Ikponmwosa has honestly played justice 2 d amazing age requirement of d council 4 employment. It is gud 2 give 35 yrs above d opportunity, but it is unfortunate that d commonest age bracket of d unemployed graduates 2day is btw 25-35.The reputable council should please play justice to this&nip it in d board d index of d menace of umployment in d stra ta of our societies.

  5. I don’t see any reason why some people were complaining about WAEC action that stipulates that all applicant must at least 35,i think there is reason for their action. They know what they want and what is good for them.

  8. Honestly nigeria is a country submerged in imperfection. I believe i speak the mind of many undergraduates roaming the streets. I believe the age limit is a ruse to get them closer to their goals.(what goals?) every unemployed nigerian should endeavour to embrace self employment. Creativity will send you to the next level moreso i advice every nigerian graduate to take d next step in advancing his or her education. Always remba that your first job is key to your success. My heart pours out for all that are in this struggle

  9. there's nothing wrong with d age limit waec required. Its them dat know wat they require & why, so people shld stop complaining abt dat. is it a crime to be above 35? Almost every advertised job is 4 people in thier 20s, so this is an opportunity 4 mo there's nothing wrong with d age limit waec required.
