“I Am A Billionaire” Declares Pastor Adefarasin

“I am a billionaire and there is nothing anybody can do about it,” Pastor Adefarasin boasted yesterday as he preached in an N8.5 million a day auditorium at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.
“I have coached many billionaires and you know, the pastor of billionaires is a billionaire,” Adefarasin who was not included among the five richest pastors in Nigeria by a blogger with Forbes, the influential American magazine that keeps a tab on the world’s rich.
The Forbes blogger, Mfonobong Nsehe, had said that after intense research, he established that the official wealth of Bishop David Oyedepo, Chris Oyakhilome, TB Joshua, Matthew Ashimolowo and Chris Okotie, Nigeria’s five richest pastors, is between N31 and 37 billion.
But, TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations has denied the report, saying that he does not even keep a bank account and cannot save billions in the bank while millions are going hungry.
“The preacher of billionaire can only be a billionaire because a monkey cannot give birth to a goat and a goat cannot follow a baboon,” Adefarasin, who is completing a multi-billion naira church in Lekki, said as he adjusted his cute Italian suit.
“I am a preacher. I am a motivational speaker. I am a TV personality. I am a life coach. You can criticise me or slander me in the pages of newspapers but the blessings are in me and there is nothing anyone can do about it,” he said.
Adefarasin, who preached on Phillipians 2:6-14 with the theme ‘Work It Out’, said that when he was still a drug addict in Miami, United States, with a low self esteem, he never imagined that he could financially achieve so much for himself and the ministry.
“I was a nobody. I had a low self esteem but God did it for me. If God can make it for me, he can make it for you,” Adefarasin said amidst boisterous ovations.
To become a billionaire, Christians must simply imagine it, ask and realise that money, blessing and favour are already in them. All they need is to ‘work out’ what ‘God has already worked in’.
“Some of you do not see that you are already billionaires but there is a difference between to create and to unveil. God will simply unveil your billions to you as he did to me,” he said to an elated and expectant congregation.

  1. Let’s not be carried away with those kind of statements and stay focus on the WORD. Thanks DOVE……well said……Let’s stay focus on the real issues on hand……let HIS name be praised always….GOD loves you….Stay Blessed Y’all…

  2. Unfortanately since I was married to a Yoruba from Nigeria who was born in Lagos and came to America, I wouldn’t be suprised if he scammed and lied to get his money. Please forgive me God if I’m wrong, but I doubt it since most of them lie so much!!!

  3. Michelle, because you had a bad experience from a Yoruba from Nigeria who was born in Lagos does not mean that people from this tribe are bad.Yes people lied both white and black, let me say that do not judge but leave it for God,be wise in dealing with human being cos their heart is full of mislead by lying

  5. @All critics: Why do you seat in you small corner with your small lives & criticise/badmouth people that have made a success out of their lives & helping others do the same? Why do you criticise the people that you admire? You err in you words bcos you know not the scriptures (the words of Jesus himself). You should go down on your knees & ask God for forgiveness for He said “Touch not mine anointed”. Don’t touch them with your mouth, your pen/keypad, or your hands. You are threading on dangerous grounds & this is a warning to you. “Fools rush in where angels fear to tread”.

  6. “do not judge”, “touch not mine annointed,” etc. are ridiculous statements from demonic messengers who are telling us not to “know them by their fruit.” God will indeed judge these men and I am going to use enough judgment myself to know that their fruit is rotten and to stay clear of them. You would be well served to do the same lest you inherit their same end: eternity in hell if they don’t repent where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth

  7. I am also a Billionaire. What have you to say! Tell me is being a ICON of prosperity a crime. Do you know what it takes to change people motives? create a future for for down trodden? building generations of creative minds? and giving hope to the hopeless? I am a Billionaire! Glory be to God!

  8. Jesus has lots to say, @Uko Owo, as in Matthew 19, verse 16

“And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments…20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? 21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come [and] follow me. 22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. 23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. 24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.”

See also this parable in Luke 12, “15 And he (Jesus) said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. 16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: 17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? 18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, [and] be merry. 20 But God said unto him, [Thou] fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21 So [is] he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

You sit there and boast that you’re a billionaire and say, “Glory be to God” when the clear teachings of Jesus Christ show that you’ve miserably gone AGAINST HIs Word and stored up over a billion dollars when you could have shared that with and blessed God and His people. You are a hoarder of money and God will punish you for that. Jesus couldn’t be more clear.

You just keep mocking though, you’ll meet your end soon enough (as all humans do) and when stand at your judgment your mocking will no longer be heard, that is, if you don’t repent in this life!

    • I think some of us do not understand the pastor. people call him billionaire and he has claimed that position with faith in the Almighty God. That is what God want from any of us. He is a billionaire in faith and God sees through his faith and God will make him what he desire.
Some of us writing here can be billionaire with God’s favour. just look at the life of the president (GJ) of this country, transformed wethin eight to ten years (if am correct). so i think what you need to do, is asked God to also bless what you do and you will find your finances tranformed in God purpose.
Also the pastor has been a blessing to many people through his words of faith etc. so my brothers and sister, ask God to show you the same favour He has shown him and you will be bless much more than him. God bless you.

  9. ..Its much much easier to judge and point the fingers. Let remmember that we shall all be judged also (and condemned/justified) by the words that we speak (and write).

Let’s all look and walk towards the LIGHT and stop accusing people [especially Man of God] of failing.

  10. Usually I don’t really enjoy making comments most especially as regards issues of this nature, but I think this may be an avenue for someone to learn. I think a lot of us here have a general problem, having it in mind that some persons “Pastors” take advantage of the congregation to make fortunes for themselves, I wouldn’t say this is a lie but I’ve only come to understand that there are no oppressor, though, we do have the oppressed and the suppose oppressor only triumph at the ignorance of the oppressed.

Pastors being rich to me is normal like anyone could be rich in his/her endeavors, it will be highly unreasonable for anyone to start criticizing or placing judgement on anyone being a billionaire @ the expense of his congregation “My pastor is a Billionaire”. No one gives under duress in my church, No compulsory target to be meet, U give @ ur will! The blessings of the Lord make’s rich and add no sorrow. Believers should understand that “All that is meant for life and godliness are available through Christ unto the Church, but U’ll only prosper and be in Health only according to the level of ur soul prosperity. I will like to say here that I’m aware of gathering where congregation are put under unnecessary duress to pay one money or the other, meeting one target or another. “Believer’s shine ur eye”. Only willingly giving will be rewarded by God. Our father of faith were rich ” Abraham, Issac was so rich that the philistines envied him, how about David, Solomon. We are suppose to be an avenue to reach to unreached, support the unsupport, be a father to the fatherless and mother to the motherless. We will make Billions, but it wont stay with us, we’ll only be a channel to bless our world. The Kingdom of God must flourish either you give or not, God do not need your leprous driven pocket to glorify himself a midst mankind. Let throw away all this slanderous handwriting as regards this subject matter.

Work it from inside out, It’s in UUUUUU
If u don’t know I’m also a BILLIONAIRE, send your criticism.

  11. Olugbenga, Femi, Albert n all you who hold their opinion, if you can quantify the worth of Jesus Blood and name, the life that you recieved in christ (if you are christians), the ministry of the Word and angels in ur life, the gift and ministry of the Holy Spirit in your life, the fellowship of the brethren and all that you hav in Christ, then I am sure you can begin to appreciate what this Man of God is talking about. But if you dont believe all I just listed, there is no way in this world or the one to come that you can understand where he is coming from let alone attain same.

  12. How did he come abt all this money as a pastor. I think wat shud b paramount 2 him is d souls of his congregation nt his asset. Why can’t him come out and tel us d numba of souls he saved instead of telling us his worth. Anyway may God help us. Bt frankly speaking sum pastor ar leading people 2 hell nt 2 heaven.

  13. E concern you. Me I be Trillionaire. I’ve long worked out billions and now in the realm of trillion- World check me out, your problem is your eduction. Get educated and be librated.
