The recently released results by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) have claimed lives in Delta State. Two female students that failed their exams yesterday allegedly committed suicide in Asaba, the state capital.
Reports said the students committed suicide after checking their result in the internet and discovered that it was unfavourable to them.
Sources said the victims had written the exams three times without passing their Maths and English Language, which led them to allegedly resolve to commit suicide.
Some persons who spoke to our correspondent on condition of anonymity confirmed that the students had struggled to gain admission into the University in the last few years without success.
Police sources at the “B” Division Asaba said the students were allegedly found dead in their various rooms after a search party that was conducted.
Wow!This doesn’t sound good at all.I think these students made a very big by taking their respective lives.Who knows if God had made it in such a way that both of them would pass the two subjects next year(2013).They shld’ve exercised patience…buh I knw what it entails 4 1 2 sit 4 1 exam 4 several years though!
GUSH!!!

What a pitty may their soul rest in peace
failing exam is not the end of life, that should not make them to commit suicide.there is a lot of thing they can do with their life without the exam.most every body be a graduate before getting what they want in life.
failing exam is not the end of life, God is going to punish them for what they have done becauce God have a purpose for their life in this world. why they should take their life like dat, which l think is a sin. l pray God forgive them.
FAILURE IS ONLY AN EVENT AND NOT THE PERSON. THEY ARE NOT WELL BEING ENCOURAGED BY THOSE THAT THEY FIRST SHARE THIRE EXPERIENCE WITH. IT CAN ALSO HAPPEN TO ANY ONE HELSE. IF THEY HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT ONE THEY, THEY WILL DO A THING LIKE THISE, THEY WILL NOT AGREE. SO IT IS ONLY WEN IT MUST HAVE HAPPEN THAT PEOPLE WILL START ASKING Y Y Y Y. MAY THIRE SOUL REST IN PEAC AMEN

I feel pity for the youths of today because we are being faced with different facets of vices most grievously is wanton disregard for human life. Failure in WAEC is definitely not failure in life. Do not forget the success story of famous entrepreneurs like Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates, who had to leave school, to pursure their dreams. Sometimes, we don’t get what we want because it is not at the appointed time. This brings to fore some salient questions like what are the duties of parents as advisers and guardians. I think if these girls had the heart-warming advice of their parents to make them realise the need to never give-up.
I only wish them what the CERATOR of our lives and the world wishes them.
