Disturbing Image Of Ice Prince Proudly Brandishing An AK-47

There are a lot of things wrong with this image. First is, Ice Prince is a Nigerian celebrity and is a role model to lots of young people, knowingly or unknowingly. Second is, what is he doing  brandishing an AK-47 rifle like a gangster? Third is, where did he get the gun from? I can go on and on about why it is just WRONG!

What message is Ice Prince trying to pass with this picture? Isn’t time our celebrities realized that their lifestyle impacts positively or negatively on their fans and admirers alike? So far, he has remained silent on this picture and it is hoped that he will speak out to dispel the negative image that this picture presently portends. Worse still, the picture appears to be taken within his house compound not a video set.

What is your take on this photo? Does Ice Prince get your support on this one? Remember, we are trying to discourage violence especially with the proliferation of small and light arms across the length and breadth of the country – meanwhile, this is an AK-47!

  1. why are you disturbed about a common picture? please grow up, the guy is a video celebrity, what if he tells you its a toy gun what would you do? face your job he’s doing his. music in nigeria is getting hotter and so are the styles, one thing however he’s childish in holding the gun. he should have placed it on his shoulder with weed in his mouth. ha ha. ..

  2. Get off his case joor…In tђε light of ur comment,u’d probably ban all action movies both hollywood and nollywood where a gun is shown/brandished and also all action video games…there is a reason for his snapping with a gun. Ask him first before slating him. All those throwing stones, especially tђε guys dnt tell us u hav never fantasized about holding a gun.

  3. Lik the post said its in his house and nt on set I think the police will grant any one arm †̥ go home with because the person is a celeb the way most of this guys display money then this, questions needs †̥ be ask about what they do behide scence of their fame

  4. Poster! What’s your business with ice prince holding a rifle,he is a core rapper and that might be a photo shoot,Da grin of bless memory had different pic with rifle no one criticised…holding that rifle is just a pose and I see nothing wrong with that at least he is not pointing it at you!

  5. I prince should not promot violence, mom that he is not pointing that Gun on any one b careful d nostril might b facing u anymoment from now. u never can tell what mignt happend next, power intoxicate so also is Gun possesion.

  6. Victor Emma, mom, Dimm, oladipupo and Lucky Jo, it is quite unfortunate that you are all ignorant of the influence Public figures do have on the lives of the young ones. We call them Role Models, because a lot of our Youth wants to be like them. So, a lot is wrong in their being seen as tacitly approving such dangerous weapons by posing with them. I join others to condemn such indiscretion.

  7. Whoever post this since last year and you know the morality behind it, why couldn’t you remove this post bcus people come here and still see it. By the way, so a Police officer could be attached to an individual for protection ? Pls on what basis ? Kindly educate me and is it enshrined in the Nigerian constitution ? You know one thing with Nigerian celebrity, they like to copy a lot from their foreign counterpart. Tell me why this young and talented guy is brandishing an AK47,when the country is still in turmoil. What is the motive behind this show off ? Common sense would have dictated to him not to post this for public view. What do you want the younger guys who are your fans to learn from you ? Simply put, when one has sudden success, if not guided or curtail certain excesses it leads to stuff like this. If actually the gun belongs to the police man attached to him, let the officer be queried seriously. High time we learnt what’s right and call a spade a spade, for those supporting his *vaganbomous* behaviour. Ja Rule was jailed for possessing an illegal fire arm. Nobody is above the law.
