We’ve Clamped Down On Most Suspected Terrorists In Nigeria – Jonathan

Jonathan-360x225President Goodluck Jonathan, on Tuesday, said most of the notable suspected terrorists in the country have been arrested by security agencies.

The president made this known while speaking at the New Year Service of the All Saints Anglican Church, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja. Jonathan, while stressing the effort his administration had been making to satisfy Nigerians, especially in the area of checking insecurity in the country, expressed optimism that the security situation of the country would continue to improve, especially with the prayers of Nigerians.

He said, “On the part of government, we are also not sleeping. We are working very hard. I am constantly being briefed on security matters that I don’t need to publish in the media. I can assure that our security operatives have been working very hard.

“Most of the people who have been involved in these crimes like bombing of the Catholic Church in Niger State, bombing of the UN Building and bombing of the police headquarters have been arrested. Almost all of them have been arrested,” Jonathan said.

Jonathan while going down memory lane, also seized the opportunity to thank the church for its prayers in the past and urged them to continue to pray for the country and his administration.

“The church has been praying for this country, not just now. I remember during the period of transition from military to civilian, when this country was drifting and we did not know where we were going, the church prayed. God intervened and stabilised the country,” he said.

  1. Mr President(GEJ), if you know the suspected person that bombed Mandela Church, UN house & Police HQ in Abuja why didn’t you broadcast to the Nation as a whole but in a church. Or you feel it dose not concern the Nigerians. Secondly it shows clearly that you (GEJ) actually know the person or the group of people that are behind all the insurgencies(Boko Haram, Kidnapping etc) in Nigeria. GEJ, iam beging you in the name of God to take the bull by the horn to make public the names of these blood thirsty suspects. I personally want to know them.
