Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi has expressed his desire to quit his job as the Super Eagles handler as he said he was not sure he would continue as Eagles’ head coach after the 2013 African Cup of Nations, AFCON.

Keshi is obviously disappointed with the way the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF has been handling issues pertaining to his job with rumours of his impending sack already viral when it seemed the Super Eagles would not make it pass the AFCON group stage. He believes it may be time for him to move on.

“I am not sure if I will remain as Eagles coach after the tournament because when a prophet is not known in his own country, he will move to where he can be recognised,” Keshi said.

Although the gaffer said he loved his country, but, like he said, “we don’t seem to appreciate our own and our people don’t seem to appreciate what we are doing with the team,” the coach said, adding, “I am a professional and I go for the highest bidder, especially, as Nigerians do not appreciate what we are doing.”
