Transfer Saga: I May Be Forced To Drop Mba – Keshi

sunday mbaSuper Eagles head coach, Stephen Keshi, has said that if the ownership tussle surrounding AFCON 2013 hero, Sunday Mba is not resolved on time, he may be forced to drop him.

It would be recalled that shortly after the Nations Cup in South Africa, top Nigeria league clubs Warri Wolves and Rangers went into a heated debate as to who rightfully owns the player – Mba on his own part insists he is with Rangers.

Following the distraction to the entire Eagles squad on the transfer saga as Mba is currently in camp with the national team preparing for the Brazil 2014 qualifying game against Kenya, Keshi has hinted that the player would no longer be part of his team from the next Eagles game and beyond if his club future is not sorted out soon.

“I may be forced to drop Mba from the team if his transfer issues are not sorted out. If by our next game, they have not resolved the problem I may not invite him,” Keshi said.
