This is the adorable preschooler who could be the youngest surfer in the world aged just THREE.

Blond-haired Triston Gailey pulls in crowds of spectators as he speeds along waves more than twice his own height in Pismo Beach, California.

His proud father Todd Gailey, 35, who has trained him since he was still in nappies, said: “He loves the water and he loves the challenge. He’s fearless.

“He gets this really intense look on his face when he surfs. I think he likes succeeding and he likes the feeling of surfing all the way in.

“Triston knows surfing is a big-person thing. He enjoys knowing he’s pushing himself and he’s doing something the other little kids aren’t doing. It makes him feel special.”

The toddler began developing his skills when he was just two, first mastering boogie boarding and skateboarding.

His father, a lifeguard and firefighter, then made him pass his 25 yard swimming test before allowing him to hit the ocean.

And despite his son being ‘a natural’, Todd was still surprised to see him get up off his belly and balance upright on the board.

Despite his skill, Triston stills wears a lifejacket and Todd is always there to push him out and snatch him from the water when he ‘wipes out’.

He added: “Safety is my number one concern. I’m captain at the fire department and as part of that I learned how to prevent accidents.

“That said, I see people die from sitting on the couch or just walking down the sidewalk. So, I want him to enjoy life and live it to its fullest.”
