SEE How 4 Friends Died At Ikotun, Lagos After Having Fun At A night Club

Barely one week to Christmas, four friends returning home after enjoying themselves at a night club in Ikeja died in a car accident which happened in the early hours of Tuesday at Ikotun area of Lagos State, western Nigeria.

The accident happened at 2 a.m. at Arida Bus Stop along Idimu-Ikotun Road, Ikotun, after their driver hit an electricity pole.

It was gathered out of the five occupants in the car comprising two men and three women, four died while the only woman survivor is in a critical condition at an unidentified hospital.

Police sources said the identities of the victims were not yet known. The registration number of the affected Toyota Tercel car was given as BT 597LND.

Their bodies have been deposited at the Igando General Hospital in Alimosho Local Government Area.

The police said investigation was ongoing while the damaged car was sighted at the Ikotun Police Station.

A source at the station confirmed that efforts were being made to contact relations of the victims.
