APC, A Coalition Of Desperate Politicians With Nothing To Offer, Says Tukur

TukurThe All Progressives Congress, APC, has been described as a coalition of desperate politicians, who have nothing to offer Nigerians.

This was the position of National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, who noted that the party’s stock in trade is insults, lack of decorum and a desperate plan to take over power by all means.

Tukur said this in a statement on Sunday by his Special Assistant on Media, Chief Oliva Okpala.

But the APC swiftly reacted to the statement calling on Tukur to tell Nigerians what the PDP-led Federal Government had done for them in the past 14 years.

Tukur said “There is a desperate political coalition in the country now known as the APC; whose stock in trade is insults, attacks and lack of decorum because the party and its membership have nothing to offer the people of Nigeria but a desperate plan to take over power at all cost”.

The PDP National Chairman specifically charged the leadership of APC to exhibit some sense of political decorum and decency in its style of politicking from this year 2014.

Interim National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Alhaji Lai Mohammed in his reaction to the statement said, “I don’t think we want to open 2014 with this kind of brick-bats. Nigerians have clearly shown that they are no longer interested in this kind of very unproductive politics.

“What Nigerians expect Bamanga to do is how in 14 years they have wasted opportunities to turn Nigeria around.

“Nigerians are not interested in whether there are rogues or thieves in one other party or the other. Nigerians are interested in what this political party has to offer”.
