A vote-of-no-confidence has been passed on the member representing Ankpa/ Omala/Olamaboro Federal Constituency of Kogi State in the House of Representatives, Muhammed Idris by his constituents, who have described his election as a “wasted mandate”.
Speaking on behalf of the constituency, the President of Kogi East Concerned Forum, Edibo Adejoh lamented “the non-performance of the lawmaker”, who is the son of a former Governor of the state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris.
Edibo labelled the lawmaker’s constituency projects as window dressing. “The abysmal performance of Mohammed Idris as a representative has only confirmed the initial fear of the people of his constituency that he is a stranger”.
The constituency spokesperson further described Rep. Muhammed as an Abuja politician, pointing out that the last time the lawmaker visited his constituency was in May, 2011 when he won election.
It’s big disgrace to people of kogi state, voting a son of taught as a rep member .
