Dr Paul Orhii, the Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, has been re-appointed for a new term of four years with effect from Jan. 13, 2014.
His re-appointment which was approved by President Goodluck Jonathan was conveyed in a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja and signed by Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
Orhii, a Ph.D holder in Neuro-Pharmacology, took over as NAFDAC DG from Prof. (Mrs) Dora Akunyili in 2009.
Information Nigeria reports that he has over 20 years cumulative working experience in the field of medicine in Nigeria and the United States of America.
