A young woman in Taraba state, identified as Halima Asar Tsar has been arrested by the police after she allegedly murdered her twin babies.
Halima who is from Anguwan Awankyesu was arrested yesterday in Gassol local government area of the state.
Halima was said to have stabbed her newborn set of twins to death before dumping them in her neigbour’s toilet.
According to report, on the day of the incident, her neighbour Mrs Evelin Joseph who owns the toilet discovered the babies in her toilet and alerted the police immediately.
However, when they were taken out of the toilet, it was discovered that they had been stabbed.
The father of the suspect Mr Asar Tsar, was contacted in his residence in Mutum Biyu, he stated that the babies were born prematurely and that was why his daughter killed them rather than allow them to undergo incubation.
