Nigeria Has Been Destined By God To Break Into Smaller Units – MASSOB

MASSOBThe Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has lambasted politicians, who introduced the no-go area clause in the on-going National Conference in Abuja, saying they did so out of selfish reasons and against the wishes of the people who wanted everything about Nigeria discussed.

In a press statement signed by MASSOB’s zonal leader for Anambra North, Mazi Chris Mocha, after its zonal meeting yesterday, the group insisted that nobody, not even President Goodluck Jonathan, could stop God’s plan for Nigeria, adding that the country had been destined by God to break up into natural units, of which Biafra was one.

According to Mocha, “God hardened the heart of Pharaoh in Egypt and used it for good purpose in favour of the Israelites”, adding that even the mighty Soviet Union with all its military prowess, was broken into 15 independent sovereign nations and yet the heavens did not fall.

Noting that the ongoing Confab provided the best opportunity for Nigerians to freely discuss how they intended to either live together or separate, but for selfish politicians who said the unity of the country should not be negotiated at the conference.
