Injuries Rock Flying Eagles Camp, Opts Out of Test Matches

Nigeria’s under-20 men’s football team may not play any warm-up match before taking on Tanzania on Saturday, May 24, because of injury.

Some of the key players in the Flying Eagles camp have reportedly picked up knocks, which could force the side to rule against playing any test game ahead of their African Youth Championship (AYC) second qualification round return leg match against their East African counterparts.

Centre-back, Wilfried Ndidi and Izu Omego again stayed away from training on Thursday morning, after picking up injuries during the first leg tie in Dar es Salam.
