5 Ways to Get Water Out Of Your Ear Instantly

Sometimes while showering or swimming, water can lodge in your ear which leads to a tingling sensation. This can be very unpleasant and can sometimes also cause pain or a reduction in your hearing.
However, this is not a serious condition; the tingling sensation is caused when the water gets trapped in your ear canal. To relieve this sensation, you must try to get this water out of your ear. Here are a few simple remedies to get water out of your ear

Remedy #1
Tilt your head in such a way that your ear is parallel to the floor. Place your palm flat against the affected ear, pressing it for a few seconds and then quickly remove your hand. This creates a temporary vacuum that helps dislodge the water. You can now use a cotton ear bud to clean your ear and ensure that all the water is out.

Remedy #2
Close your mouth and hold your nostrils with your finger. Take a deep breath and then gently blow out the air through your nostrils. This will regulate the air pressure and open the Eustachian tubes thus relieving the tingling sensation from your ears.

Remedy #3
You can also use a blow dryer to get rid of the water in your ear. Hold a blow dryer about 10 inches from your ear and set the heat and speed to low. Now turn it on and allow it to blow in into your ear. Hold this for a few seconds and repeat according to your needs.

Remedy #4
Fill in ¼th cup of salt and heat it in the microwave. Put it in a cotton cloth and fasten it tightly. Place this cloth near the opening of the affected ear for a few minutes to relieve the water from it.

Remedy #5
Smash a few garlic cloves to extract juice from them. Take about two or three drops of this garlic juice and put it in the affected ear. Wait for a minute or two and then blow dry your ear from a safe distance. This should also help ease the pain and tingling.
