Vanguard reports that the death of a suspected Ebola patient in Jeddah has made the Saudi Arabia kingdom to suspend pilgrimage visas from West African countries.

The suspected dead Ebola infected man was said to have just come back from a business trip in Sierra Leone.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Saudi authorities confirmed the infection after tests were conducted on samples from the victim which were certified EVD symptoms of “viral hemorrhagic fever”.

The Saudi Health Ministry also stated that it was working to trace the man travel’s route and identify those he had contacts with.
