Man Calls Police To Report Vandals At His Home, They Show Up And Kill Him

The police are supposed to protect and serve, but all of these stories about police brutality are really starting to get on my last nerve.

A man from Oklahoma was shot and killed by a police officer after he called them to report vandals outside his home! The man had a gun on him when officers arrived at his home, according to recent reports.

Back in March of 2013, 47-year-old Daniel Martin Jr. dialed 911 to report vandals loitering outside his peaceful home. When the 911 dispatched asked Daniel Martin Jr. if he owned a gun, Martin truthfully told the dispatcher he had one in his possession.

“But I have one,” Martin said. “I’m inside with my weapon.”

The 911 dispatcher supposedly warned police officers Anthony Edwards and Elijah Garcia beforehand that Daniel had a gun, but when they showed up to his home and bust open the door to find him standing inside with it, they treated him as if he was a vandal!

“Gun!” one officer yelled before they opened fire on Daniel.

Daniel died seconds after being shot by police officers, and now, following an investigation, the police officers have unsurprisingly been cleared of any wrongdoing, with the shooting being called ‘justified.’
