The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has promised to improve the lives of the people of the state if elected as governor in 2015.

Wike spoke in Bonny, yesterday, when he met with PDP delegates and commissioned New Rivers Vision Office.

Addressing PDP stakeholders at an open forum, he said that when he assumes office, he will redefine development in the state and ensure infrastructural development in all the 23 local government areas of the state.

He advised the people of Bonny to demand accountability from their children serving in the outgoing administration.

“We must begin to ask those serving with the outgoing administration what they have done with enormous resources at their disposal,” he said.

“I urge Bonny delegates to vote me on December 8 during the PDP governorship primaries and go ahead to vote me during the governorship election. We have to change the fortunes of Rivers State. The people of Bonny know my pedigree as a performer. I intend to build on my wonderful performance in the past,” he said.
