The Lagos State Gubernatorial aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Jimi Agbaje, on Saturday urged residents of Badagry to get their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC).

Agbaje said this at a Town hall meeting he organised for party officials and supporters in Badagry, where he stressed the importance of the card to ensuring they are able to vote in the coming elections.

“Voting is your right and everyone must ensure that he gets his voter’s card as this is the only way you can vote.

“With your voter’s card, you would be able to vote for the party of your choice.

“There have been marginalisation in Badagry and this place is supposed to have been more developed than this but it is still the same,” he said.

The governorship hopeful therefore promised to bring the necessary developments that Badagry deserved if elected. He also vowed to revive several sites of interest in the town.

“This is not about me making promises because I want to tell the masses what they want to hear, we know what this state needs and we are ready to provide it.

“We will make sure that the state isn’t just for the elites but the poor will be able to afford the basic things in life,” he added.
