The Lagos State Ministry of Education said it would introduce the Computer-Based Testing (CBT) mode for some primary six pupils seeking admission into its 15 model colleges in the 2015/2016 academic session.

According to the state Commissioner for Education, Olayinka Oladunjoye, the ministry had commenced the sale of admission forms and would close on April 3. The screening test would be conducted in two versions – a Computer Based Test (CBT) and the Paper Based Test (PBT).

“There will be a computer-based testing (CBT) that is open to only about 20 to 30 interested candidates that will like to participate in the pilot scheme,” Oladunjoye said in a statement signed by Jide Lawal, the spokesperson for the ministry.

“The regular Pencil Based Test (PBT) is the usual pencil and computer answer sheet test,” she explained.

The screening test will hold on May 9 in all designated centres across the state.
