AIESEC’s Lagos 1st Ever Youth To Business Forum

On the 18th of April 2015, AIESEC Lagos will hold its 1st ever Youth to Business Forum tagged Emerging Leaders, ‘’21st Century Leadership’’ and the 40th Anniversary respectively. The forum which is divided into 3 sessions (Inspire-Engage-Act) will be held from 9am to 6pm at the University of Lagos

The Youth to Business Forum is a forum for top business leaders to meet top students with the aim of generating new and most importantly actionable ideas that will overall contribute to building a better Nigerian society.

The Youth to Business Forum is set to bring together top business leaders from different sectors of the economy and top students from different universities in Lagos and around Lagos state. The aim is to provide a platform where both parties can discuss, brainstorm and proffer solutions to social issues affecting the state.

AIESEC is the largest student organization in the world with a global network of 70,000 undergraduates and recent graduates. It is an International Platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potentials so as to make a positive impact on the society.

We deliver this quality experience through our internship and volunteering opportunities in over 126 countries and we believe in making the world a better place. We envision Peace and Fulfilment of Humankind’s potential. AIESEC strives to engage and develop every young person in the world to achieve its mission.

The Workshop Topics for the Youth to Business Forum are: Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Sustainable Development, ICT/Technology, Youth Leadership

Speakers and panelists for this event are Dr. Michael Omolayole, Prof. Pat Utomi, Prof. Oyewusi Ibidapo-Obe, Mrs Hafsat Abiola-Costello, Mrs Bidemi Ademola, Mr Muhammed Awwal Abbas and Dr. Nicholas Okoye. Delegates numbering close to 500 are expected from various schools such as University of Lagos, Yaba College of Technology, FCE amongst others. With Ayo Thomson as the official compere.
