David Luiz Says ‘I Am Not A Virgin’

Paris St-Germain and Brazil centre-back David Luiz has angrily debunked speculations that he is still a virgin.

The 28-year-old posted a photo of himself being baptized in a swimming pull on his Instagram page on Wednesday with the caption: “I have chosen to wait.”

Those words immediate triggered a rash of reports that he was still a virgin and had opted to abstain from sex with his girlfriend, Sara Madeira.

“My religion, my baptism, I’m very happy,” Luiz responded, adding: “People are saying things everywhere about whether I’m a virgin or not. I am not a virgin.

“Some people in the press don’t respect people in life. I can put my head on my pillow and sleep great because I respect everyone.”

Luiz Being Baptized at His Team-Mates’ Swimming Pool

Luiz was baptized in the swimming pool of his PSG team-mate, Maxwell. The Christian initiation rite has now made him a member of the Pentecostal Hillsong Church in Paris.

Luiz and 23-year-old Madeira met while they were teenagers.
