Mr. Elkana said further investigations revealed that Ibrahim Mohammed made the connection and brought the counterfeit NOTES from one Alh Ali and Abdullahi both in Kaduna State to be traded in Niger State.

In an interview, the suspects confessed that they intended selling the counterfeit money for a lesser amount.

Mohammed said, “What we intended to do is that we give N1m of the counterfeit money and collect N200,000 of real money”.
