Price Of Petroleum Products May Crash Next Week – IPMAN

petrolIn what may come to most Nigerians as good news and huge relief, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) Ilorin branch, said yesterday that the price of petroleum products may crash in the coming week.

The Ilorin Chairman of IPMAN, Alhaji Sulaiman O. Olanrewaju, made this known in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital during an emergency meeting of the association on the factional crisis rocking it for some time now.

According to Olanrewaju, failure of members to dispose the available products may lead to loss as they are not sure of how much the product will fall to even as they applaud government’s effort to revive all petroleum depots in the country.

“Price of petroleum products may crash next week from the information we gathered and we want to urge our members to sell out the products they buy at high prices to avoid loss. We are also glad to tell you that the products will be available in Ilorin soon”, Olanrewaju said

The IPMAN boss further regretted that they cannot sell the product they bought at N96 for N87 adding that with information available to them, the price of petrol will soon go back to N87 in Ilorin as most petrol stations sell above the official pump price of N87 per litre.
