BREAKING: FG Fires Heads Of NTA, NOA, Others


The Federal Government has disengaged the heads of the six information-related parastatals under the Ministry of Information and Culture.

This was contained in a statement by Segun Adeyemi, Special Assistant to the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.

According to the statement, the Minister announced the disengagement during a meeting he held with the affected Chief Executives on Monday.

Those disengaged are: DGs of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Mr. Sola Omole; Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Mr. Ladan Salihu; Voice of Nigeria (VON), Mr Sam Worlu; News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Mr. Ima Niboro; Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Mr. Emeka Mba and the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr. Mike Omeri.

While thanking the disengaged chief executives for their service to the nation, Mr. Mohammed directed that they hand over to the most senior officials in their various establishments.
