Enugu To Build 2,500 Houses For Workers

The Enugu State government plans to build 2,500 houses for low and high income earners in the state.

According to the commissioner for Lands and Urban Development, Solomon Onah, five hundred of the houses would cost N7.5 billion.

Onah spoke yesterday, during a ceremony to mark the commencement of the sale of forms for 500 plots of land at the New Independence Layout along the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway in Enugu.

He further said that only single family or twin duplexes/bungalows of not more than two floors, including the ground floor would be built in the new layout under Public-Private Partnership, PPP.
