Ex-Ekiti PDP Scribe, Tope Aluko, Who Exposed Ekiti Election Rigging Reconciles With Fayose

Aluko-Fayose

A former secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ekiti State, Mr. Tope Aluko, has reconciled with Governor Ayodele Fayose.

Mr. Aluko made news headlines when he went on Channels TV to openly expose the rigging machinery that was deployed by the then PDP-led federal government to win the Ekiti governorship election in 2014.

Mr. Fayose last Thursday accused the former PDP scribe of being a Judas, saying he (Aluko) would soon be dumped by his “principals”.

In a move that is bound to catch keen observers of political developments in Ekiti State unawares, Mr. Aluko visited Governor Fayose at the Government House yesterday night where they reportedly made up.

Speaking to newsmen afterwards, Fayose said the former PDP scribe remains his boy and son; “I’m the father of all, for whatever that happened, I’m the father and I should accommodate everybody. Aluko remains my boy, my son”.

Mr. Aluko also maintained that there was no condition attached to his settlement with the governor.
