Job Title: FPSO Scaffold Superintendent

Job description

  • To follow-up the Construction and associated pre-commissioning activities related to Nigerian Content (NC) packages, up to end of Construction and load-out/integration works.
  • Ensure that fabrication is in accordance with the design.
  • To ensure that all construction activities related to his discipline are performed safely and efficiently in line with company objectives.
  • To oversee the activities of all site teams within his discipline to ensure that all technical, contractual and cost information is properly recorded, collated and available for inspection/reference as required by company policy.
  • To identify deficiencies and develop solutions to identified construction problems.
  • Monitor QC activities within his discipline
  • To manage construction interfaces with others (engineering, other sub-projects, commissioning) arbitrating between different disciplines, the only criterion being the overall good of the project.
  • To maintain good relationships with contractors, being relatively flexible, proactive but also strict when necessary to achieve the objectives of the project.
  • To ensure that safety remains the main priority on the construction site at all times.
  • Attend the toolbox meetings.
  • To ensure that the construction yards are provided with suitable information in line with requirements (technical & schedule), troubleshooting any technical problems that could affect construction/ fabrication.
  • To identify critical activities and potential bottlenecks for the progress of the works.
  • To inform periodically to Construction Yard Representative about the progress activities and area of concern.
  • To prepare or help to prepare reports for company, partners, and authorities as required

QUALIFICATION

  • Professional experience (number of years): 10 years of relevant construction experience in Oil and Gas production projects
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Job Title: FPSO Painting Supervisor

Job description

To follow-up the Construction and associated pre-commissioning activities related to Nigerian Content (NC)
packages, up to end of Construction and load-out/integration works.
Ensure that painting activities during fabrication is in accordance with the design and minimise the non
conformance painting result.

  • To ensure good communication between COMPANY Team and CONTRACTOR/SUB-CONTRACTOR Team,
  • To ensure that all painting procedures/manuals are available, easily access at yard and well communicate with Contractor.
  • To ensure that all painting activities are performed safely and efficiently in line with company objectives and Company / project specifications mainly GS EP COR 350.
  • To monitor QC activities within his discipline.
  • To monitor painting materials delivered at Site: storage and preservation.
  • Comments on the contractor documents related to painting/PFP/insulation in due time.
  • Review and comment site queries related to painting/PFP/insulation works and co-ordinate the response with corrosion engineer leader.
  • Close communication and exchange/share an information/constraint at yard with Corrosion Engineer leader
  • To ensure safety issues of used painting materials as hazardous materials.
  • To ensure safe working practices are carried out by CONTRACTOR/SUB-CONTRACTOT and VENDORS,
  • To maintain good relationships with contractors, being relatively flexible, proactive but also strict when necessary to achieve the objectives of the project.
  • To ensure that safety remains the main priority on the construction site at all times.
  • Attend the toolbox meetings.
  • To keep record volume of painting used on Nigerian Content packages including hull appurtenance.
  • To inform periodically to Construction Yard Representative about the progress activities and area of concern.
  • To report to the Painting Superintendent on regular basis (daily, weekly, monthly) and highlight critical problems, discrepancies and dysfunctions if any,
  • To issue Daily and Weekly and Monthly Reports
  • Maintain up to date activity follow up (progress, etc.),
  • Participate in the inspection activities,
  • To follow and clear Punch list

QUALIFICATION

Professional experience (number of years): 10 years of relevant construction experience (painting and
coating) in Oil and Gas production projects

Qualification: Certified by an approved organization such as ACQPA-FROSIO, NACE Level 3

 

Language: English fluent
Ability to work as part of a team
Good knowledge on Computer utilisation: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc

 

 

Job Title: UFR/OLT Sites Onshore Pre-commissioning Engineer

Description

The UFR Onshore Pre-commissioning Engineer will be required to:
. provide assistance and reports to the respective UFR COMPANY Site Representatives at EWT, SCNL, Aveon, IMS and Breman Yards; UFR Pre-commissioning Leader and to the UFR Construction Manager in Lagos.
. be directly responsible for supervising all the pre-commissioning activities at EWT, SCNL, Aveon, IMS and Breman Yards performed by UFR and OLT CONTRACTOR
. Attending all the Pre-commissioning activities organised by UFR and /OLT CTRs – work repartition, priorities, schedule, resources, coordination of the preparation team.
. Attending the daily/weekly meetings with the UFR/OLT COMPANY Site representatives.
. Issuing daily/weekly reports within agreed or set time frame.
. Reviewing of the pre-commissioning procedures or dossier with the pre-commissioning orientation and ensure precommissioning
feasibility.
. Witnessing and validating the execution of EWT, SCNL, Aveon, IMS and Breman Yards pre-commissioning activities with due consideration for safety, technical, quality, cost, schedule and achieving smooth hand over.
. Supervising UFR and OLT Contractors for the integration of UFR and OLT activities within the OPERCOM and ICAPS processes.
. Following up the schedule of onshore pre-commissioning of UFR and OLT Contractors in order to reach the planned end date.
. Checking pre-commissioning progress against schedule and recommending any necessary corrective actions, close followup on punch list.
. Reporting immediately any unexpected events which may affect pre-commissioning.
. The review of the various pre-commissioning preparation tasks to be performed by the UFR Contractor.
. Reviewing pre-commissioning management procedures (hand over, interfaces, punch list, internal, organization
etc…)Following UFR and OLT Contractorspreparations of the onshore pre-commissioning activities and,ensuring all the HSE requirements are well implemented.
. Following Pre-commissioning activities ensuring the Pre-commissioning procedures are duly enforced by UFR and OLT Contractors.
. Reporting to each Yard’s COMPANY Site Representative and UFR Construction Manager about all technical issues thatrequire to be specifically addressed in documentation review or during Pre-commissioning progress meetings.
. Supplying verified information to the reporting system that allows full tracking of Pre-commissioning events either to be used for reporting issue or for mitigation of future change order.
. Providing inputs to contract correspondence, as necessary and issuing reports and presentations as necessary.
. Reporting to Management any issues they may face and propose ways of improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
. Graduate degree in a relevant engineering discipline with experience in Oil & Gas industry
. Sound background in Oil & Gas installations and onshore construction.
. Minimum 7 years cumulative experience engineering, fabrication or operations.
. Good knowledge of international structural design codes / standards
. Good organizational skills
. Fluent in English (verbal and written)
