PDP Will Reclaim Kogi — Wada

Idris WadaThe erstwhile Governor of Kogi State, Capt. Idris Wada, yesterday expressed confidence that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will bounce back to power in the state.
Wada, who is at the Kogi Gubernatorial Election Petition Tribunal, where he is seeking declaration as winner of the November 21, 2015 polls, stressed that the PDP remains the party to beat, despite the challenges it is currently passing through.
The ex-governor spoke in Lokoja, the state capital during a special stakeholders’ meeting of the PDP.
Mr. Wada, who expressed happiness with the turnout of party members and executives from across the state, urged them to remain united, focused and loyal to the party in anticipation of victory at the end of the day.
The ex-governor, who expressed joy over the release of N20 billion bailout funds to offset salaries owed Kogi workers, however, noted that the non-release of the funds during his tenure was political.
