President Buhari Commiserates With Kabba People Over Passage Of Monarch

President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the family of Oba Michael Folorunsho Olobayo, the Obaro of Kabba, who passed on last week.

According to a statement by presidential spokesman Garba Shehu, the President notes that the past 30 years since Oba Olobayo’s ascension to the throne have witnessed peace and remarkable advancements in Kabba. He also commended the late Oba’s invaluable contributions to the development of the entire Kogi State.

President Buhari also extended condolences to Governor Yahaya Bello and the entire people of Kogi State on the loss of their eminent son and revered monarch.

The president prayed that God will comfort the family, friends and subjects of the departed royal father.

The king died aged 71 and spent 30 years seven months on the throne.
