Diamond bank got more than it intended when it posted through its official Twitter handle an advert about their new Esusu platform on 20th May 2016, and the post got a lot of Twitter users including their competition,Sterling Bank. Customers and critics alike threw all sorts of shade at Diamond Bank over the post that was riddled with spelling errors- something considered very unprofessional.
Sterling Bank, quickly cashed in on the situation and tweeted a jab at Diamond Bank, saying that theirs(Sterling Bank) is better because they ensure everything necessary condition is met including spelling ability.
