Death Toll In Istanbul Airport Bombing Rises To 36

Turkish officials have confirmed that the death toll from Tuesday’s attack on Istanbul’s Ataturk airport has risen to 36 even as 140 people have been confirmed injured.

Reports indicate that there were at least three attackers who shot at passengers before blowing themselves up at the airport’s international departure wing. The three attackers were shot by policemen but not before they detonated their explosives.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for Tuesday’s attack which is the latest in a spate of attacks by terror cells in Turkey as concerns over security continues.
