FG To Lead Campaign On Patronizing Nigerian Goods

The Federal Government has announced plans to lead a campaign on the patronage of made in Nigeria goods.

Senator Udo Udoma, the Minister of Budget and National Planning, disclosed this on Monday in Abuja, where he explained that the plan is expected to reduce importation, provide employment and boost the nation’s economy.

While commenting on the plan, Asue Ighodalo, the Vice Chairman, Board of Nigeria Economic Summit, also enjoined the general public to go for locally produced goods, adding that Nigeria Economic Summit 2016 coming up in October (11-13) would center on getting the support of Nigerians from all walks of life to patronise local manufacturers.
