Bobrissky Is A New Media Panelist And Nigerians Don’t Know How To Feel!

In a country where there laws criminalize homosexuality, it is somewhat telling that one of its internet sensations is Bobriskky, a popular Lagos cross dresser.

Bobriskky

Bobriskky is famous for dressing up like a woman as well as his hard to miss made up face. To be sure, Nigerians aren’t entirely new to cross dressers, considering that we already have Denrele Edun but Bobrisky seems to be an evolution.

His Snapchat stories about ‘bae’, the mysterious benefactor who gives Bobrisky millions of Naira which he is all too happy to show his numerous followers. Most Nigerians who condemn his eccentric dressing follow him, such is the complexity of the Nigerian moral code.

The latest reason why he’s on everyone’s lips again is his inclusion as a panelist for EIE’s ‘New Media Citizens & Governance Conference.
The moderator of the conference, Subomi Plumptre pulled out of the event via a statement issued on Twitter and it has once again made Bobrisky and his credentials as a panelist a subject of debate;

  1. Homosexuality should be criminalized. Homosexuality is a crime against God and against the Holy Bible. After reading this story I know why God wrote:
    Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
    Romans 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: :26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: :27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
