New ITF Boss Redeploys 45 Officers

The newly-appointed Director General of the Industrial Training Fund, ITF, Sir Joseph Ari, on his first day in office on Thursday, directed the immediate re-posting of forty-five officers to different departments across the country.

In a signed circular by the DG, some of those transfers include directors of departments while others were managers.

Three of the deployed officers are managers, including Mr. Dickson Onuoha, who was returned to head Procurement, after he served as acting chief executive for seven months; as well as Ibrahim Lawal, and Hassan Umaru, who are now to head Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Administration and Human Resource Development, respectively.

According to a source, the transfer came as the new boss plans to re-position the organization to deliver on the his mandate to serve as a platform for the development of innovative skills.
