The Ebonyi State Emergency Management Agency has been rocked by fraud scandals as top officials on Sunday, were accused by victims of a fire disaster of allegedly diverting relief materials meant for them.

The victims, in their accusation, also alleged that the officials distributed rotten and spoiled foodstuffs to them while converting the good ones for their personal use.

The Executive Secretary, Pastor Oziomaeze Kenneth, when contacted confirmed that he directed the HOD of Administration and Chibueze Iteshi, in charge of relief and rehabilitation to distribute the relief materials.

Pastor Kenneth, who attributed the fraud to the leadership tussle between him and the Chairman of the agency, Evangelist Ephraim Ononye, said the matter will be thoroughly probed and the culprits would be made to face the law.

In his response, the Chairman, Evangelist Ononye, who condemned the alleged diversion, maintain his innocence as he said he was not aware of the distribution to the victims.
