Police in the US arrested a 19-year-old man on Saturday on rape and attempted robbery charges.
Jaykeen Primus was arrested by Fayetteville police arrested after he was accused of assaulting and attempting to rob a woman who is an acquaintance.
The incident occurred in a hotel room on a block in Fayetteville, North Carolina, the Police Department said.
According to a warrant, Primus threatened the woman with a gun to try to take her money –  a penny.
He also is accused of two counts of first-degree forcible rape and one count of first-degree sex offence.
Primus was jailed with bail set at $600,000.
