Tuface rejected N140m from PDP, APC during 2015 elections campaign

Singer, Tuface Idibia, turned down at least N140 million worth of bookings from political parties before the 2015 elections.

According to his manager, Efe Omoregbe “2Baba turned down over N140m worth of booking requests from partisan political interests in the lead up to the 2015 general elections to protect the credibility of the Vote Not Fight: Election No Be War campaign.”

”Some of these requests came from campaign committees working for friends and associates with whom he had maintained long-standing personal relationships.”

It will be recalled that, 2face released a video post on the eve of the planned protest, announcing that the protest had been ‘cancelled’ because of ‘external forces that threatened to hijack it’.

Nigerians concluded that government officials forced him to pull out of the ‘I Stand With Nigeria’ protest in February.
