Read about What This Mother Of Four Did To Her Facebook Lover

A single mother of four, Aishat Akintunde, 33, has been arrested in Lagos for allegedly defrauding her Facebook lover of money and properties valued at about N5m, PMNEWS reports.

Akintunde, a resident of Alagbada, Lagos and hailed from Abeokuta, Ogun State, allegedly succeeded in defrauding her France-based victim, Ayobami Adeniyi, after she promised to marry him and also help him purchase a filling station in Nigeria.

Akintunde was initially arrested for selling an unregistered Renault bus with properties inside value at about N2.5m for just N1m. During investigation, she claimed that Adeniyi shipped the bus for her to sell. .

When contacted on the phone, Adeniyi, however, told the police to detain the suspect. When he got to the police station, after arriving Nigeria, Adeniyi stated that: “I met the Akintude on Facebook in November 2016. .

And she told me that she was a divorcee and that if I was ready for a relationship I should send her money to rent an accommodation and I sent N100k to her because I was desperately in need of a wife from Yoruba land.

In February 2017, she told me that her mother was a big time oil dealer in Nigeria managing 3 filing stations. She later told me that her mother was about to sell off one of them for N4m and she advised me to purchase it. .

She sent 3 pictures of the 3 filing station to me to convince me. I accepted her advice thinking that she was a honest woman who would be a good wife. I confirmed the alleged sales from her “mother” on phone. .

I then transferred the sum of N1.85m into the suspect’s account. I equally sold my Peugeot car in Nigeria for N1m. I also shipped a Renault bus with properties inside valued at about N2.5m to her to sell and pay for the filing station. .

But she instead converted all my money to her personal use and plunged me into debt.” In her defence, Akintude admitted receiving only N1.5m cash from the complainant and not N5m. .

She said she sold the bus for N1m and used the proceeds to buy an uncompleted building at Sango Ota, Ogun State. The suspect will be charge to court after the conclusion of investigation
