China government barred Justin Bieber from singing in China, gives reasons

The Canadian singer, Justin Bieber has just been barred from performing in the mainland China for the meantime.

Bieber, who plans to be on a Purpose World Tour to the Asian continent to include China, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore and Hong Kong will now be forced China from his list of countries for performances.

In response to this restriction, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture wrote a statement on its official website to outline reason behind Bieber’s ban.

The statement says:

“Justin Bieber is a gifted singer, but he is also a controversial young foreign singer.”

“As far as we are concerned, he has engaged in a series of bad behaviours, both in his social life and during a previous performance in China, which caused discontent among the public.”

“We hope Justin Bieber is able to improve his conduct as he grows up and will once again find public favour”, the Bureau ended in hope to lift in restriction later in future.

The 23-year-old singer is one of the most powerful celebrities in the world as recognised by Forbes.
