Ryan Giggs’ £40m divorce battle with his wife set to end, after the Manchester United legend had an 8year affair with own brother’s wife and slept with other women.

Former Manchester United and Wales star, Ryan Giggs and his estranged wife Stacey are due to divorce today as she’s expected to be granted a decree nisi during brief proceedings in central London.

The couple split up in May 2016, after it was revealed the former Manchester United star had cheated on his wife with multiple women, including ending his own brother’s marriage after it was revealed in 2011 that he had an 8year affair with his wife.

Ever since the pair separated, they have been involved in proceedings in the Family Division of the High Court in London relating to the division of marital assets.

A judge is expected is be asked to decide at a future hearing on how big a share of the marital assets Mrs. Giggs should get if an agreement is not reached in the £40m divorce battle.

Giggs estrange wife has previously said she wants the divorce court fight over money to end as ”swiftly and amicably as possible”.

Ryan Giggs retired as a player in the summer of 2014 and subsequently worked as United’s interim manager for a short spell. Before he retired he made 963 appearances for United and won 64 Welsh international caps.
