Church Members Reportedly Build N1 Billion Chapel

The General Overseer of Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo yesterday commissioned a N1billion new chapel built by his members.

Members of the Winners Chapel in Lekki area of Lagos state have reportedly built a 1,000 capacity church at Victoria Garden City, Lekki, Ajah, Lagos singlehandedly for a whopping N1 billion.
According to reports, the church was commissioned yesterday by their General Overseer, Bishop David Oyedepo in VGC. This will give room for more worshippers at the church to attend service with the alternative church completed.
Oyedepo had maintained a central church at Ota, Ogun state which was the primary place of worship. It is believed the man of God will frequent the ultramodern N1 billion church.
It was gathered that a pastor, who chose to remain anonymous, procured property, built and delivered the whole facility to the church for free as his contribution to the church.
The facility will continue to hold only weekly services until such a time as the Bishop Oyedepo receives divine instruction to allow satellite centres within Lagos to run Sunday services.
