First Team Player Pulls Out Of Super Eagles Squad

Several first team players of the Super Eagles will not be participating in the match against Algeria following fitness concerns.
 
Exciting winger, Moses Daddy Ajala-Simon has become the latest player to withdraw from the Super Eagles squad, as he has joined Changchun Yatai F.C frontman Odion Ighalo in the treatment room. Another developing report has it that the team’s Assistant Caption, Ogenyi Onazi has also been ruled out of the upcoming matched due to injury concerns.
Brila reports that Simon picked up a foot injury in training, before Friday night’s game vs Standard Liege. His injury has been assessed by Gent’s medics and they have advised him not to travel to Africa and Russia for the World Cup qualifier against Algeria and the international friendly against Argentina.
”Moses Simon won’t be available for the games against Algeria and Argentina due to the foot injury,” Brila.net can confirm.
With Chelsea wing back, Victor Moses and Sivasspor’ Elderson Echiejile not named in the latest roster due to Injury, Simon was in line to start his fourth straight game in the World Cup qualifiers against the Desert Foxes.
Manager Gernot Rohr is also sweating on the fitness of Trabzonspor midfielder Ogenyi Onazi, while John Ogu and Leon Balogun have not featured for their clubs in the last three matches because of concerns over their fitness.
The Super Eagles handlers will be looking into the best possible replacement for these injured stars as the final qualifiers game against Algeria approaches. Followed by a glamour match against Argentina in Russia.
