Man Gets Stuck Trying To Rob A Chicken Shop | Photo

A man who tried to burst into a chicken shop and rob the place, has ended up getting stuck inside an extractor fan in the building.

This man’s very, very poor attempt at robbing a chicken shop ended only in embarrassment after he got himself stuck in an extractor fan for seven hours.
The suspected burglar thought he was being clever when he tried entering DFC Chicken, on Rookery Road, in Birmingham, by crawling through an empty extractor fan hole at 2am.
Turns out he misjudged the whole thing and ended up getting himself stuck and was forced to call out for help.
Someone passing by a few hours later spotted the unfortunate man’s legs dangling in the air from outside and called the police.
PC Matthew Willocks, who attended the scene, snapped a picture of the man, who was finally released from the ground floor window by a crew from Handsworth Fire Station, just before 9am.
West Midlands Police said a 45-year-old, from Handsworth, was taken to hospital for a check-up and was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
ResponseWMP1 tweeted: ‘Don’t get stuck if your trying to break in. 5 hours later shouting help £triptocustody by all means.’
PC Willocks said: ‘The extractor unit had been removed and the suspect had climbed in to the extractor outlet at around 2am. He was completely stuck and couldn’t move at all.
‘The fire brigade had to come in and use the jaws of life to pull back all the extractor casing to release him.’
Dozens responded to the tweet, calling the man’s mishap ‘hilarious’.
Jim Nicholl said: ‘Another fine mess Stanley. Must feel a right turkey!’
Judith Broug posted: ‘Trying really hard not to laugh.’
In September, a woman had to be rescued by firefighters after she got stuck trying to get her own poo from the home of a Tinder date.
The unnamed woman had been for a romantic meal at Nando’s with student Liam Smyth, 24, last month, before they went back to his place in Bristol for a nightcap.
She went to the toilet but blocked the pan. In a panic, she picked up the stool and threw it out the window but it landed in a narrow gap between two window panes.
She was forced to confess to her date, who helped lower her out of the bathroom window into the gap between the houses in an attempt to retrieve it and got stuck, leading to firefighters having to be called to rescue her.
