Shatta Wale took to social media to issue a stern warning to Nigerians, following the backlash he received online after saying Wizkid isn’t a superstar.
Shatta in an interview with Kasapa fm had said he doesn’t see anything extraordinary about wizkid. This, he said was contrary to the popular notion most of his colleagues have about the artist.
His words;
“I don’t see Wizkid to be too much for me but most of my Ghanaians and Ghanaian colleagues see him like that. But i want Wizkid to see me and be like wow not otherwise because what is talking is your pocket, property, investment.
“I will not see Wizkid and be stunned, I rather want him to see me and be amazed because I don’t see anything extraordinary about him, even though he claims to the best African artiste…”
“Don’t come and wear a chain which is fake and come and say we the biggest artistes in Africa ,we are number 1. I don’t get scared of those things, making money in music is no joke thing my business is making money for me.
“My colleagues are really working hard like May weather, Christiano ronaldo dont think my colleagues are Ghanaian of Nigerian artistes.”
This earned him lots of backlash from loyal Wizkid fans and Nigerians.
Apparently this didn’t sit well with Shatta as he has taken to Twitter to issue a stern warning to Wizkid while tagging the starboy so he doesn’t miss it.
“But Naija wassup, me abi different guy ooo dont let me spark.. Your @wizkidayo sef knows what am talking about ..so shut f**k up” He tweeted.
Will Wizkid respond to this? Let’s wait and see and this plays out.
