Released Dapchi Schoolgirls Speak After Regaining Freedom… Here’s What They Said (Video)

Some of the 100 schoolgirls who were abducted at their school in Dapchi, Yobe state, and were released on Wednesday morning, have revealed that the Boko Haram terrorists did not harm or molest them.
 

The over 100 schoolgirls who were abducted at Government Girls Science Technical College (GGSTC), in Dapchi, Yobe state, on February 19, 2018, were released by Boko Haram terrorists early on Wednesday morning.

Unfortunately, at least two of the girls are reported to have died as a result of the trauma while one of them was not released as a result of her Christian belief.

 

While speaking to a Channels Television correspondent in an interview on Wednesday, one of the released girls disclosed hours after their arrival in Dapchi that they were not maltreated or assaulted by the terrorists throughout their period in captivity.

Meanwhile, the released girls are currently on their way to Abuja to meet President Muhammadu Buhari. Secretary of the Parent’s Forum for the missing girls disclosed that the girls have been taken to Maiduguri Airport where they will be flown to Abuja to meet with Buhari.
