President Muhammadu Buhari was recently conferred with a First Black History Month National Black Excellence and Exceptional African Leadership award by Martin Luther King Jr’s family. An award that many Nigerians found undeserving, however, a presidency source says that the award was handsomely paid for, according to LeadersNG.
According to our presidency source, the award was facilitated by Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Senior Special Assistant to the president on Foreign Relations & Diaspora through a Ghanaian self acclaimed foreign diplomat, Erieka Bennett.
LeadersNG further learned that $3m was paid for the fake Martin Luther King Jr’s award that was conferred on Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari.
Nigerians reacting to the fake award have this to say;
Thank God @TheKingCenter denied that they gave an award to Buhari or asked Nigerians to reelect him. I was wondering how Martin Luther King‘s family will visit Nigeria to give an award to a tyrant! Their father had a dream and they came to Nigeria to associate with a nightmare?

Shameless people, Buhari and his people. Imagine making a song and dance of an award presented by Martin Lurther King’s brother’s wife in HER PERSONAL CAPACITY.
No previous winners. No backing by a governing board. Just a plaque picked up from a store with no meaning.
Clowns.

Why using the name of Martin Luther King to lie?
But I’m not surprised. Nigerians should remember how they lied that
