Arsene Wenger is to leave @Arsenal at the end of the season. He has given much of his life to Arsenal. He has brought much success to the club. He has given much to the game of football in our country. Merci et bonne chance, Monsieur Wenger. #Wenger

#PEP: Arsene Wenger has all my respect. The Premier League is the Premier League now because of Arsene Wenger and what he has done, his vision and respect for football. I wish him all the best in the future. Of course it was a pleasure to compete against him.

I’m actually emotional on Arsene Wenger’s imminent departure as Arsenal manager. We may never see a manager stay that long at a football club again. Wenger will be solely missed. 22 years of stability at Arsenal deseeves all the accolades in the world.

I will always remember and hate the unacceptable abuse and amount of hate that was shown for Arsene Wenger in his last few years in charge.
For 3 FA Cups in 4 years to be considered as ‘failure’ at Arsenal is the best display of how high Arsene raised the bar.#MerciArsène ❤

My first time ever to Europe was to London in August of 2003. I wore my brand new yellow jersey with Henry on the back & was able to catch the first game of the “Invincible” season. That Arsenal team made me fall in love with soccer.
Merci Beaucoup Arsène Wenger.

Coming back to Twitter to the news that Arsene Wenger is leaving. Thought I’d be happy at the sound of this but I just feel empty inside. Like a part of me has been ripped off! I love you Arsene! #MerciArsene

Imagine an Arsenal game without Arsene Wenger in that suit with the red tie, in the dugout!? Shouting to the 4th official? Doing his two fisted celebration when we score? 22 years. I was 3 when he came. My heart is sore today. I hope he’s happy with his decision ❤ It hurts. pic.twitter.com/NhFJUyErBf
