Official ‘ruffler’ of president Muhammadu Buhari, Reno Omokri has said newly resigned Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun must receive the full weight of the law.
Adeosun, earlier caused a frenzy on social media after news of her resignation broke out. The ‘former’ Minister who has been embroiled in a certificate forgery scandal reportedly resigned because the situation made her position untenable.
While many have showered praises on Adeosun for putting integrity before anything else and resigning from her position, some have also asked that she face the law.
One of those is, former presidential aide Reno Omokri. According to him, while it may be good for Adeosun to have resigned, it would be best for president Buhari not to shield her from facing the law like he does to People’s Democratic Party members.
I commend @HMKemiAdeosun, for resigning. I only wished she had done this earlier. But nevertheless, it took great courage for her to resign. I urge President @MBuhari not to sweep her forgery under the carpet. She must be treated how he treats @OfficialPDPNig members #RenosDarts
